Abode products... FRUSTRATE ME!

I understand I should be teaching myself how to work these programs considering this is my passion, but someone please explain to me why I'm taking a college class to better myself and learn this stuff and it turns out that the teacher isn't really, well, TEACHING?! Its truely frustrating! =(
